Drew Wardle

Drew Wardle is a singer-songwriter that is influenced equally by Leonard Cohen as well as British surrealists Robyn Hitchcock and Syd Barrett. His songs are observational with a poetic bent. The subjects of his songs range from relationships, political and social commentary and even sometimes tinged with a little humor. Growing up, Drew lived around Europe up until the age of 14, which had a dramatic influence on his point of view and musical influences. When playing live, Drew likes to surprise himself and maintains an unpredictable and spontaneous energy mirrored by the vicissitudes of life itself, by very rarely following a strict setlist and also rarely playing a song the same way twice. He writes and plays songs on guitar and piano.
