Labor Day mini playlist from Greg Spero
WRTI is excited to present a Labor Day holiday mini playlist from the Greg Spero camp featuring the premiere of The Chicago Experiment: Revisited video for the song For Too and a double dose of Greg’s ensemble Anthopoda featuring videos for the songs MEH and Turquoise. Following the global success of The Chicago Experiment, the long awaited fourth in The Experiment Series, Greg Spero brings us 8 unreleased tracks from the original sessions. While the sound is instantly recognizable, The Chicago Experiment: Revisited expands on the original in a flowing and explorative way. Revisited is not a group of bonus tracks assembled for commercial sale; it is a cohesive and deeper look into the artistry of the players and their relationship to one another. One gets the feeling of being present in a dimly lit studio after hours, when the real talk comes out. WRTI would like to issue special thanks to Greg Spero and his team and our friends at Ropeadope for their contributions and continued aggressive musical output! https://thechicagoexperiment.bandcamp.com/album/the-chicago-experiment
